On February 27, 2025, a lecture for 1st-2nd year students on the topic of bullying and cyberbullying prevention “Stop Bullying” was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. The purpose of this event is to raise students’ awareness of the problem of bullying and ways to prevent it. The event was attended by 1st-2nd year students of the college. During the event, college psychologists told students about bullying and cyberbullying, their consequences and how to prevent them. Students learned how important it is to be friendly and respectful to other people, not to spread rumors and gossip, and not to participate in bullying other people. During the lecture, members of the psychological club “Children of Freud” showed a skit “Stop Bullying”, which helped students better understand how bullying manifests itself and how to resist it. At the end of the lecture, practical exercises “Boomerang”, “Bullying Trial”, “Creating Rules” were conducted. These exercises helped students consolidate the knowledge they had gained and learn to apply it in practice. A video was also shown on how to stop bullying. The video showed students that they are not alone in the fight against bullying and that there are many ways to stop it. Law enforcement officers were also invited to tell students about criminal liability for bullying and explained the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The result of the event was to increase students’ awareness of the problem of bullying and ways to prevent it. Students received useful advice on how to behave in bullying situations and where to seek help.
