On May 11, 2024 on the territory of the military department of KRU named after A. Baitursynov were held competitions on initial military and technological training, timed to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland and Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

The objectives of the event were: improving military-patriotic work among young people, the development of military-patriotic education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, promoting military service and improving the image of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, fostering a sense of teamwork.

This event was attended by 19 military-patriotic clubs, including students of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College from the military-industrial complex “Zhas Sarbaz”. According to the regulations, the team composition of 6 people was involved. These are students of groups M-12, A-1, ES-23, PO-6.

The program of the competition included a marching race of 3000 meters. All teams passed the stages according to the route sheets: orienteering, soldier’s kitchen, military knowledge, first aid, passing through a minefield, incomplete disassembly and reassembly of an automatic rifle, ammunition loading, obstacle course, civil defense.

According to the results of the competition the team of the military-industrial complex “Zhas Sarbaz” was awarded with a diploma for the 1rd place.
