Professional Trials at KPVK: A Step Toward a Conscious Career Choice

On January 19, 2026, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College opened its doors to school students from the city. A total of 98 ninth-grade students from schools No. 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 participated in the professional trials.

During the event, students got acquainted with the college’s in-demand specialties, learned about the specifics of education, and explored future employment opportunities. They had the chance to try practical activities in the college’s modern laboratories and workshops.

Participants explored professions such as “Automation and Process Control,” “Power Supply,” “Software Development,” “Bakery, Pasta, and Confectionery Production,” “Standardization, Metrology, and Certification,” “Accounting and Audit,” “Elevator, Flour, Cereal, and Feed Production,” and “Mechanical Engineering Technology.”

Under the guidance of teachers and vocational training masters, students performed practical tasks, worked with equipment, and asked questions. This hands-on experience helped them better understand the nature of different professions and evaluate their own interests and abilities.

At the end of the trials, participants shared positive impressions. Many noted that the professional trials helped them take their first steps toward a conscious choice of future career.
