On February 11, an information and awareness-raising meeting was held at KPVK (Kostanay Higher Polytechnic College) for students of groups 1ПО-10 and 1СИБ-1 on the topic: “Administrative and Criminal Liability for Offenses.” The organizers and speakers included the Deputy Director for Educational Work, L.K. Dyusekeyeva, Social Educator E.A. Muslimova, and the Leader of the Student Parliament, Zhasulan Shaimerdenov.

During the discussion, the speakers covered key aspects of the law and the consequences of its violation in detail. Special attention was paid to the prevention of violence and fighting among youth. The speakers emphasized that any illegal actions can permanently tarnish one’s biography and close doors to prestigious professions.

The meeting also addressed current issues regarding fraud and cybercrime. A separate discussion was held on the dangerous phenomenon of “dropping” (money muling): students were informed that providing their bank cards for the transit of suspicious funds makes them accomplices in criminal schemes. Furthermore, the participants discussed drug abuse prevention and the severe penalties associated with the distribution of prohibited substances.

At the conclusion of the session, students were reminded of the necessity to strictly follow traffic regulations and their responsibility for their own lives and the safety of others. Such events are held on a regular basis to foster legal literacy and conscious behavior among the younger generation.
