On September 12, 2024, the Day of Awareness was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. A lecture on the topic “Caution: Cybercrime and Cybercrimes. Responsibility” was delivered by Deputy Director for Educational Work, L. Dyusekeeva, to 1st-3rd year students. During the lecture, information on information crime, cybercrime, crimes in the field of computer information, and virtual crime was provided. Statistics on such crimes were presented, as well as information on the responsibility for violating articles of the criminal code. The students’ behavior in the online space was also analyzed, their actions in dangerous situations were assessed, and practical advice on ensuring the security of personal data in social networks and mobile applications was given.
