On January 26, a regional practical conference was held with the participation of representatives from different countries called “My profession. My experience in production.” The event was organized at the Rudny Polytechnic College. Within the framework of the conference, the results of professional (industrial) practice of students of technical, economic, service and education specialties were analyzed in order to determine the level of their competencies, knowledge and skills.

The event also helped to identify the level of practice-oriented training of students, as well as their readiness for independent work and adaptation to specific workplaces. The main purpose of the conference was to determine the level of students’ competencies in accordance with the requirements of the State mandatory Standard of technical and vocational, post-secondary education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in various specialties.

The students of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College demonstrated outstanding performance in their speeches. The experience in the field of production was presented by Dayana Sadvokasova, a third–year student with a degree in Accounting and Auditing. As part of her speech, she highlighted the following aspects:

1. She presented in detail the company where she had her professional practice.

2. Described the professional skills and practical skills that she acquired during her practice.

3. She spoke in detail about the positive and/or problematic aspects that she encountered during the internship.

4. Shared her experience of observing safety regulations at work.

5. Discussed the role of professional practice in the context of her future training and development in her chosen professional field.

          As a result of her performance, Dayana became the deserved winner of the conference. Her detailed study of professional practice, presentation of the company where she practiced, and clear coverage of acquired professional skills were highly appreciated by the jury. Experts highlighted not only her ability to succeed in fulfilling her professional duties, but also her ability to analyze and reflect during practice.

         This victory highlights the successful integration of professional experience and theoretical knowledge. It also serves as an inspiration for other students, stimulating their desire to actively participate in scientific and practical activities and emphasizing the importance of practical experience in shaping a professional career.
