On March 14, 2024 in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held competitions in mini-biathlon, among students of the first year.

The purpose of the event: military-patriotic education of young people, popularization of biathlon in college, identification of gifted students, improvement of sportsmanship.

The following groups participated in the competition: A-2, B-4, PO-5, M-11, M-12, ES-23, ST-7, TZ-29, PO-7. The program of the competition included a relay ski race, where each of the participants had to run a classic course of 2,000 meters (boys) and 1,000 meters (girls), a shooting range (shooting from an air rifle).

The winners were among girls:

1st place- Rizhkova Sofia, a student of PO-7 group.

2nd place – Nurbayeva Aruzhan, student of group B-4

3rd place- Maktybaeva Dilnaz, student of ST-7

among young men:

1st place – Makalov Vasily, student of group M-12

2nd place – Luther Maxim, student of group A-2

3rd place – Kashtalinchuk Stanislav, a student of group M-12.

The winners were awarded with diplomas.
