«Teachers and Parents: Conflict Prevention»

On September 9, 2024, the college’s pedagogical psychologist, S.G. Utebekova, held a session with the college’s teaching staff on the topic “Teachers and Parents: Conflict Prevention.” During the meeting, the participants discussed the main causes of conflicts, such as differing expectations and emotional tension, and explored methods for preventing them.

Special attention was given to effective communication techniques: active listening, “I-messages,” and empathy. Teachers had the opportunity to practice these skills by role-playing situations they encounter while working with parents.

The event helped participants understand the importance of openness and honesty in communicating with parents, and it also offered strategies for resolving conflicts.
