December 21 on the eve of the New Year in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College with the heads of study groups held a master class “New Year’s Kaleidoscope”. The purpose of the event was to create conditions for professional communication, self-realization and stimulation of growth of creative potential of teachers; improvement of professional skills of heads of study groups; dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience; introduction of new technologies of teaching and education.

In the course of the master class the ideas of holding a New Year’s holiday in student groups were presented.

The program of the event included contests, games “One snowflake, two snowflakes…”, “Winter mood”, “Decorate the Christmas tree”, “Snow task”, “Guess the melody”, which teachers can use in their work with student groups. During the contests teachers had to tell about the history and traditions of the holiday, answer the questions of the New Year’s quiz, guess the melodies of songs. Contests for the most creative Christmas tree and New Year’s costume were held.

All participants of the master class were active in games and contests, were emotional and expressive.

       At the end of the event, all participants of the master class came to the conclusion that the presented creative ideas of holding the event dedicated to the New Year is one of the important means of familiarizing students with a healthy lifestyle, the formation of a friendly student team.
