On March 18, Kazakhstan celebrates Nauryznama Decade National Dress Day. National clothing is not just an element of the wardrobe, it is a reflection of the history, traditions and soul of the Kazakh people. On this significant day, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted a screening of “Ulttyk sezim” (“National feeling”), organized by 1st and 2nd year students. The participants demonstrated the splendor and variety of Kazakh national costumes, immersing the audience in the atmosphere of traditions and history. The students not only presented national clothes, but also talked about the features of historical, traditional and modern types, ornaments and ornaments. Each element of the costume had its own meaning, reflecting the social status, age and region of origin of the wearer. The Ulttyk Sezim show became a bright event that allowed students and guests of the college to: get to know the history and culture of the Kazakh people more deeply; see the beauty and diversity of national clothes; feel proud of their cultural heritage; strengthen a sense of patriotism and national unity. National Dress Day is an important step in preserving and popularizing Kazakh traditions.
