In 05.12.2024, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted a lecture on the urgent problem of our time – terrorism and religious extremism.

The lecture was organized to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of terrorism and extremism, as well as measures to prevent these phenomena. Colonel of the Security Service of the College Zhukov A.S. spoke about various forms of manifestation of terrorism, about the methods of recruitment to extremist organizations and about the responsibility of persons involved in terrorist activities.

Particular attention was paid to the fact that terrorism is not only a threat to the security of the state, but also a serious danger to every person. The lecturers emphasized that terrorists use religious feelings, nationality or social problems to manipulate people and involve them in the press.
