From December 1 to 5, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held the educational computer game “Qarzhy Sagshysy,” aimed at improving students’ financial literacy and developing essential financial management skills.

The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ understanding of personal budgeting, responsible financial behavior, and safe use of financial products.

During the week, 22 groups of 1st- and 2nd-year students participated in the game. Through an interactive format, the participants learned about financial planning, saving strategies, expenditure optimization, and assessment of financial risks.

The “Qarzhy Sagshysy” game simulated real-life situations, allowing students to make financial decisions, allocate budgets, and analyze the consequences of their choices. This approach increased engagement and made financial concepts more accessible and practical.

The results of the activity showed a high level of student interest in financial literacy. The game-based format helped reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical tasks and made the learning process more dynamic and effective.

“Qarzhy Sagshysy” has become an important step in the college’s ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy and develop key economic competencies among students.
