A debate on the topic “My success is my result” was organized in Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, dedicated to Labor Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the debate tournament: raising awareness of the importance of labor in the Republic of Kazakhstan, discussing human rights of labor, increasing motivation for the learning process among students.

First-year students took part in the tournament. During the game, students formulated and defended their position, conducted a dialogue, actively defended their views and judgments, demonstrating leadership qualities of team spirit.

The participants studied and carefully worked out the content of the topic; defined each concept in the thesis; compiled cases (a system of arguments) for both the affirmative and negative sides

The winners of the tournament were awarded certificates. However, I would like to emphasize that success does not always consist in winning the argument or convincing everyone that you are right.

It is important to remember that the purpose of debate is not only to win, but also to exchange ideas, discuss different points of view and develop critical thinking. When we accept someone else’s opinion, we are open to new ideas and can expand our horizons. Remember that mutual understanding and

respect for different opinions will help us achieve better results and
