On March 17, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Culture and National Traditions within the framework of the decade of Nauryznam – a day dedicated to the preservation and popularization of the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people.

On this day, events are held throughout the country aimed at strengthening cultural ties and transferring traditions to future generations.

Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College did not stay away from the celebration. College students prepared an exhibition at which they presented traditional folk crafts and art of the Kazakh people. Visitors to the exhibition were able to see: souvenirs in the national style

Amulets, dolls in Kazakh national outfits, mini-yurts.

Particular attention was attracted by the yurt, in which almost all the traditional attributes of Kazakh life were presented: dastarkhan, kamcha on the wall, a chest embroidered with national ornaments, dombra.

This event provided a unique opportunity for students to learn more about the cultural heritage of their people, and for the older generation to pass on their knowledge and experience to future generations. The Day of Culture and National Traditions is an important milestone in the preservation and development of Kazakh identity, uniting people of different generations and contributing to the strengthening of cultural ties within the country.
