On March 5, 2026, cross-country skiing competitions for 1st–4th year students were held at the sports ground of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College by the physical education teachers.
The purpose of this event was to involve students in physical and recreational activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, prepare students for participation in competitions, and encourage young people to engage in regular physical education and sports.
The boys had to cover a distance of 1000 meters, and the girls had to cover a distance of 500 meters using the free technique.
As a result, the places among the boys were distributed as follows:
1st year students
1st place – Farid Safin, group M-16
2nd place – Islambek Sattabaev, group TZ-31
3rd place – Yaroslav Marchenko, group M-15
2nd–4th year students
1st place – Maxim Lyuter, group A-2
2nd place – Mansur Karaev, group ES-23
3rd place – Konstantin Ziborov, group M-14
Among the girls:
1st place – Darya Kovalyova, group PO-11
2nd place – Lyudmila Kozubekova, group TZ-31
3rd place – Margarita Mazur, group PO-12
The winners and prize-winners were awarded certificates of honor. All participants received a boost of energy and a good mood. The competition became a real celebration of sport, health, and youth!
