On March 28, 2026, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted a large-scale parental forum titled “Building the Future of Our Children Together,” dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the educational institution. The main goal of the event was to assist parents of 9th-grade graduates from schools in Kostanay and the Kostanay region with professional orientation for their children, as well as to present the college’s educational opportunities as a launchpad for a successful career. The forum’s program was extensive, featuring a grand opening with the participation of Director Katkenov K.A., a presentation titled “KPHC in Focus: Traditions, Innovations, and New Vectors of Development,” and meetings with representatives from the region’s leading employers. These industry partners confirmed the high demand for the college’s graduates in the labor market. Special emphasis was placed on practical introduction to various professions through organized masterclasses for different specialties. Parents of future applicants were able to immerse themselves in the world of modern technology by visiting platforms such as “IT Technologies: From Idea to Prototyping,” “System: Smart Electric Grids,” and “Integration of Modern Electronics and Power Engineering,” which revealed the intricacies of the energy sector. Additionally, sessions were held on “New Technologies for Grain Quality Assessment,” “Modern Food Industry: Innovations in Bakery Production,” and a creative masterclass titled “Confectionery Art: From Creativity to Masterpiece.” The event concluded with an interactive quiz, an open microphone session, and a prize draw, allowing guests to get answers to all their questions in an informal setting and feel confident in choosing the right educational path for their children.
