On the eve of International Women’s Day, the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held a curatorial hour “Be kind, Ana, please, let’s have some fun”. Students of 1st-4th years took part in the event.

The goal of the curatorial hour was to cultivate in students a sense of respect and gratitude for women, especially mothers, as well as to form a valuable attitude towards family traditions.

During the curatorial hour, students:

• Learned about the history of the holiday: they analyzed in detail the history of the emergence of International Women’s Day, its significance for modern society.

• Discussed the role of women in society: they talked about the important role of women in the family, at work, in public life.

• Expressed gratitude to mothers: students shared stories about their mothers, talked about their love, care and support.

• Prepared creative works: students prepared poems, songs and greeting cards dedicated to mothers.

The curatorial hour “Bari de, Ana, bir ozinnen bastalady” became an important event in the life of the college. It helped students think about the value of motherhood, as well as strengthen friendly relations in the team.
