On October 21, 2024, a lecture was held with students of Kardon Serik Uyzbayuly gave recommendations to students on the prevention of HIV/AIDS center, on the topics:

1.HIV infection. Transmission routes. Principles of prevention;

2. Stigma and discrimination towards persons living with HIV infection;

3. Article 161 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the health of the people and the healthcare system» – «Social and legal protection of persons infected with HIV infection»;

4. Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)»;

During the event, the specialist informed about the main routes of transmission and principles of HIV prevention; on criminal liability; social and legal protection of persons infected with HIV infection.  Serik Auyzbayuly spoke about the importance of undergoing an annual medical examination.

He also informed about the negative consequences of consuming narcotic and psychoactive substances, as well as alcohol abuse.

The lecture was given by Serik Auyzbayuly, a doctor from the Cardon AIDS Center and medical worker Amanzhulova Ulbike Kydyrbaevna.

The lecture was attended by the following students: 1st year: B-6, B-7, E-15, M-13, M-14, HP-25, HP-26.
