In the modern world, artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part of our lives, including the field of education.
On October 2, 2024, a review event was held on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Prospects and Possibilities of Use in the Educational Process”, during which mentors Deputy Director for Information Technology Khramey Irina Sergeevna, teachers of special disciplines Tulegenov Erkebulan Nurlanovich, Keneshov Dulat Duisenbekovich, college laboratory assistant Ososkova Anastasia Vitalievna acquainted the audience with the main aspects of the training program.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Deputy Director for Information Technology Khramey Irina Sergeevna. Participants were invited to launch paper airplanes, symbolizing their knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve their goals.
Before diving into the theory, a survey was conducted to find out the level of knowledge of the participants about artificial intelligence and the services they use. Discussions about companies like Kodak and Nokia made everyone think about the importance of adapting to new technologies. Examples showed that failure to adapt can lead to a loss of market position, and now we are on the verge of similar changes in light of the development of artificial intelligence.
The training program was divided into several blocks, each of which covers key aspects of the use of AI in education:
- Creating educational content – learning services for generating text and visual materials.
- Creating test questions – platforms such as Quizizz.com and AI Quiz Maker for developing tests and managing questions.
- Generating designs and branding – getting to know services for creating logos and other design elements.
- Generating images and videos – tools for creating and editing media content using AI.
- Generating text and sound – platforms for converting text to speech and creating audio content.
- Using AI assistants and creating AI bots — studying AI assistants such as Google Assistant and Alice and their use for educational purposes.
At the end of the event, participants filled out questionnaires via QR codes, sharing their impressions and expectations from the implementation of AI in their practice.
The result of the event was the realization that neural networks are not just a fad, but a powerful tool that opens up new horizons for education. As with the Internet, mastering artificial intelligence technologies today can be the key to success in the future.
We hope that the participants left with new knowledge and motivation for further education, as well as with practical skills for their application in the educational process.
