On September 3, a curatorial hour for groups of 1-4 courses “Ana tilim – arym bul!” was held at the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College.

The main goals of the curatorial hour were:

1. Formation of the desire to master the Kazakh, Russian and English languages; study of traditions and customs; formation of a value attitude to education, the desire to be needed and useful for their homeland.
2. Instilling interest in the holiday of the Day of Languages ​​of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, the formation of patriotism through the study of the cultural heritage of the people, instilling interest in knowledge of the state language, the formation of patriotism through the study of the cultural heritage of the people.
3. Education of respect and desire to study, know languages; educate a citizen of a multinational state; tolerant respect for people of different nationalities, traditions through national games of the peoples of Kazakhstan.

During the event, the participants demonstrated their views on the topic of language development using videos and presentations, recited poems dedicated to their native language, and answered various questions. In all competitions, the participants demonstrated their level of language knowledge and easily completed many tasks. It is through language that students learn about national heritage, the wealth inherited from their ancestors. By studying the languages ​​of other peoples, students not only learn words, how they sound and what they mean, but also gain a deeper understanding of the culture of these peoples, their customs, traditions, and become familiar with oral folklore and national games. At the end of the curatorial hour, the children came to the conclusion that a citizen of any state is, first of all, a caring person who knows, loves, and values ​​the cultural heritage of his ancestors. It is language that is the cultural heritage of each nation. Because language is a whole world with its own destiny.
