Career Guidance Work Among 9th Grade Students

On January 19, 2026, a career guidance event was held for 9th grade students at Secondary School No. 19 in Kostanay. The event was conducted by lecturers of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, Baibulatova A.Zh.  and Omarova  G.A.

       The purpose of the event was to support students in making an informed professional choice and to provide them with information about opportunities for obtaining technical and vocational education. During the meeting, students were introduced to the activities of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College, admission requirements, specifics of the educational process, and future employment prospects for graduates. Information was also presented about in-demand specialties offered by the college, its material and technical facilities, and the practice-oriented nature of the educational process. To reinforce the information received, students were provided with informational brochures about the college.

         In addition, 9th grade students were invited to participate in career guidance trial sessions, which will be held on January 20, 2026, at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College. The event contributed to increasing students’ interest in technical specialties and became an important step in strengthening cooperation between the secondary school and the institution of technical and vocational education.
