Today, a documentary film on the topic of “drops” was shown to first-year students. The main purpose of the event was to raise awareness about the dangers of “easy money” offers, improve financial literacy, and help students understand their personal responsibility before the law.

During the screening, students learned who “drops” are, how they become involved in fraudulent schemes, and what serious consequences such actions may lead to. It was emphasized that sharing one’s bank card or personal data with third parties can result in legal liability. Responsibility for such offenses is предусмотрена законодательством Республики Казахстан, including the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

After the film, students shared their reflections and noted that “there is no such thing as easy money,” and that careless decisions can negatively affect their future. Many concluded that it is important to stay cautious about suspicious offers and to take financial security seriously.
