On February 4, a curatorial hour titled “Addiction Prevention: Biological and Social Risks” was held for group 3 ES-23 under the leadership of curator N.L. Bondareva.

During the event, students studied in detail the mechanisms of the destructive impact that drugs have on the central nervous system, paying special attention to the concept of neuroadaptation and the degradation of the body’s natural dopamine system.

N.L. Bondareva emphasized to the group that drug use entails not only irreversible medical consequences but also serious social risks, including legal liability and the destruction of a future professional career. Participants discussed the following:

• Ways to counteract external pressure in situations where drugs might be offered;
• Analysis of false stereotypes regarding “soft” substances;
• Identification of key factors for personal internal resilience.

The outcome of the meeting organized by N.L. Bondareva was the formation of a firm stance among students toward a total rejection of drugs and a conscious attitude toward their health as the primary resource for achieving life goals and a successful future.
