On January 21, 2026, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College (KPVK) hosted career tryouts for ninth-grade students from general education schools of the city.

The event aimed to introduce students to the world of professions, support informed career choices, and increase interest in technical and vocational education.

During the career tryouts, students visited the college’s IT center, classrooms, and workshops, where under the guidance of instructors they explored various fields, learned about study conditions, modern equipment, and the specifics of different specialties.

The career tryouts were attended by ninth-grade students from the following schools, accompanied by teachers:
School No. 16 — O. V. Broze, E. T. Rizhenko (20 students);
School No. 17 — A. T. Khusanova, H. B. Beisenova (20 students);
School No. 18 — L. V. Sufiyarova (20 students);
School No. 19 — A. Zh. Baibulatova, Sh. B. Eskalieva (30 students);
School No. 20 — M. K. Nurkanov, A. A. Sharakulova (25 students);
School No. 21 — A. Zh. Kuzhakhmetova (20 students);
School No. 2, Tobyl — V. V. Zadorozhnyuk (33 students).

A total of 168 students took part in the career tryouts.

The event provided students with practical experience, an opportunity to ask questions, and a better understanding of their professional interests and abilities.

KPVK continues its active work in career guidance and cooperation with city schools.
