On January 12, 2026, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held an awareness-raising meeting for 1st and 2nd-year students. The central theme of the discussion was the motto: “My Rights – My Responsibility.”

The session was led by Police Lieutenant S.K. Bastanov, District Police Inspector of the Juvenile Sub-unit of the Local Police Service (Kostanay City Police Department).

Key topics of the discussion included:

• “Zero Tolerance”: Cultivating a fundamental refusal to accept even minor offenses and public disorder.
• A Safe Environment: Prevention of bullying within the student community.
• Digital Ethics: Countering cyberbullying and understanding legal responsibility for online activities.

Lieutenant Bastanov explained in detail that rights are inextricably linked to duties, and that law-abiding behavior is the foundation of personal safety and a successful future. The meeting was conducted as an open dialogue, allowing students to ask questions and receive expert guidance on legal matters.
