As part of the republican environmental initiative “Tazaly қ zharshysy,” students of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College took an active part in the environmental campaign aimed at increasing environmental literacy and the formation of practical skills for a responsible attitude to the environment.
The key event of the action was the ecological quest, which brought together students from the groups of ST-9, KhP-27, B-9 and TZ-31. The interactive format allowed participants not only to test their knowledge, but also to put it into practice, working in teams and solving real environmental problems.
During the quest, students performed tasks for separate waste collection, determined the types of garbage and methods of its processing, analyzed environmental situations and looked for effective ways to solve them. Particular attention was paid to the problems of water, air and environmental pollution by plastic, as well as the impact of human activities on nature.
Intellectual tasks of the “myth or truth” format helped participants dispel common misconceptions about waste and recycling, and environmental investigations contributed to the development of critical thinking and environmental responsibility. The final stage was the unraveling of the environmental code, during which students came to the main concept of the event – ecology as the basis of a sustainable future.
The eco quest showed a high level of student engagement and interest, contributed to the development of volunteer activity, team interaction and a conscious attitude to environmental issues. The event was a clear example of how environmental knowledge can be effectively integrated into the educational process.
The participation of students of the Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College in the Tazaly қ Zharshysy campaign confirmed that young people are ready to be an active participant in environmental transformations and contribute to the formation of a culture of cleanliness and sustainable development in the region.
