On December 15, 2025, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College hosted the grand opening of the Decade of Psychology and a meeting of the psychological club “Freud’s Children”. The purpose of this event is to help students understand their inclinations and interests, correlate them with their chosen professions, and form an informed attitude to vocational training under the motto: “We do not choose a profession for you, but help you better understand yourself and your choice.” The event was attended by students of various courses and specialties, as well as activists of the psychological club “Children of Freud”. During the event, an interactive game “Career guidance through psychology” was held. The meeting began with a lively dialogue about what is more important in work – money or interest. The students were tested using E.A. Klimov’s methodology to determine their personality type. In the main part of the program, the groups participated in mini-discussions, proving the importance and specificity of their future specialties. The bright end of the day was the psychological campaign “Free Wishes”, in which the club’s activists gave warm words and motivational parting words to students and teachers of the college. At the end of the event, the opinions of the students were heard, who noted that working in groups helped them to take a fresh look at their future careers. The participants came to the conclusion that a profession is not only a diploma, but also a way of life that requires constant development of personal qualities.
