In order to implement the “Birtutas_tarbie” Program, Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College held mentoring hours for 1st-4th year students on the topic “Together against corruption”, the goals of which were: Ability to correctly interpret and understand laws and legal acts; ability to independently apply the acquired legal knowledge in real life, in solving specific practical situations; ability to act in accordance with legal norms and rules in order to maintain order and security in society; ability to assess situations from the point of view of legality and ethics and make informed decisions.

During the mentoring hour, they discussed the current problem of corruption in our society and possible ways to combat it, studied the concept of corruption, its types and consequences for society.

Students were asked to watch documentaries and read articles on this topic in order to better understand the scale of the problem and understand how it affects our lives.

The mentoring hour helped students realize the importance of the problem of corruption and understand that each of us can contribute to the fight against this evil. The contingent of students who took part in the mentoring hours: 1st year – 398; 2nd year – 312; 3rd year – 46; 4th year – 25; group leaders -30.
