On November 19, 2024, a library quest based on the work of Mukhtar Auezov “The Way of Abai” was held at Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College within the framework of the “Reading College” concept.

The purpose of this event was to show and tell by examples, in a playful way, the world of national traditions and rituals.

The event was attended by 1st year students of groups ES-24, M-14, E-15, HP-26

During the event, students were told about books written by Kazakh writers, which describe the life of the Kazakh people. For example, Mukhtar Auezov’s book “The Way of Abai” was chosen. Since the author described many customs and traditions in the novel, the guys tried to determine which custom, national dish or element of national clothing is described in the novel “The Way of Abai” using the proposed objects, words, images. At the end of the event, the results were summed up, and by the decision of the guys themselves, a participant was chosen who spoke in the most complete and detailed way about the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.
