On November 20, 2024 for students of the second year of Kostanay Polytechnic Higher College (groups M-11 and M-12) was organized a meeting with soldiers of the border control of the airport of Kostanay.

The meeting was held for the purpose of military-patriotic education of students, selection of candidates for admission to higher military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense, the Academy of Border Guard Service of the KNB of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as educational institutions in Russia and Turkey. In addition, the event promoted the prestige and popularity of the profession of border guard.

During the meeting Warrant Officer Tashtaeva Tatyana Alexandrovna and Petty Officer Doshchanov Talgat Kapezovich told the students about the rules of admission to specialized secondary and higher military educational institutions, conditions of military pay and benefits for servicemen.

The students were also shown presentations and videos about the service in the border troops.

During the event, the students asked questions to which the servicemen gave detailed answers. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and aroused keen interest among the college students.
